Everyone needs a secret weapon, and Emily’s is her Dad. He’s just like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.
Dad is the perfect English Gentleman and has one of those walking encyclopaedia superhuman minds. He knows the formula to orbital velocity quicker than you can Google it! Emily is exceptionally curious and her father always encouraged her to have a range of thought.
Before setting up roadmusic, Emily won multiple awards including The Drum Creative Roses, and thirteen awards at the BBC.
Emily worked for Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT and BBC Worldwide, along with other marketing agencies looking after clients such as; Apollo 13 astronauts, Avios, Bristol Airport, GCHQ, IBM, Lotus Cars, Toyota, Office of National Statistics and the National Trust.
Utilising her creative, project management, science and technology skills, she moved into the music and entertainment industry to learn more about production and the sensory world.

TESTIMONIALS

“Emily is a breath of fresh air to work with. Committed, energetic, passionate and full of ideas and problem solving. With Emily’s drive and determination to answer a brief and deliver a product we as the client are proud of, we finally managed to eject the ‘elephant in the room’ to another planet. Emily truly embodied the project and not only was it a reflection of the company, it should be a reflection of Emily also. The new website project has had many failed attempts in my time at the Club (6 years), with Emily on board, we completed a complete re-design and launch within 12/14 months. Emily showed wonderful integrity throughout the whole process, and if you want to deliver a product you aim to be proud of after she has gone…employ her. You won’t regret it.“
Anthony Moyse – The Hurlingham Club Communications Director
“Emily is a superstar! In my line of work I get to see some of the very best talent around the world. Emily is right up there and yet still has more to come. Emily is smart, strategically minded, compelling and has a big heart. She is well worth listening to and if you get the chance to work with her; grab it!”
Steve Hyde – Chairman & CEO 360 Executives
“After meeting incredibly well connected Emily at Advertising Week NYC, we worked closely together for our 2015 London event. She covered every avenue in terms of taking Overcoast to the next level and even better, helped to secure Rudimental with Harmonic for the Microsoft Advertising Week wrap party. Her compelling passion for music is crystal clear and she connects the dots like no other. Needless to say, highly recommended!”
Danny Wright – Chief Brand Officer at AdWeek
“Emily was one of the most focused team members that I employed. Not only was she; consultative and professional within her role and with her clients but also really good fun to be around!”
Matt Stanley – BBC Magazines Director
“At Origin Publishing and BBC Magazines Bristol, Emily was very well organised, ready to work under her own initiative and very supportive. Very quickly we realised she was able to take on many additional responsibilities. Emily excelled in our sales environment regularly winning awards. Emily is confident, intelligent and conscientious and is able to play a leading role in any project. I would definitely employ her again and have no hesitation in recommending her to you.”
Andy Marshall – Managing Director BBC Magazines Bristol
“Emily’s skillset as both creative and project manager is quite a valuable combination yet where she raises the bar is how she elevates those two traits through a high level of intellect, strong communication skills and assertive follow through. During our production of 2019’s Coachella Curated content, we scheduled back to back documentaries to shoot with Idris Elba and Little Simz in London between travelling to other countries / cities across the globe. Emily’s field coordination in London for us, including aligning a solid camera, G&E and sound team, coordinating our shoots and schedule on the ground was flawless and more importantly, a truly memorable and enjoyable life experience. Most recently, I was seeking to create a new online hub to showcase my Directing work and sought out advice from Emily after hitting a wall through another creative direction. Emily, in just a matter of a few days, created the wonderful website template and design while also directly communicating with my hosting company. She not only built the foundation and look of the new website faster than imaginable yet also got it done without incurring any additional costs. One week later, the site http://www.michaelwabbott.com was launched and on its first day of public launch, had 600 visitors coming to see it and message compliments. I couldn’t be more grateful for Emily, who showed me that even when I’m in LA, and she’s in London. . . she still delivers above and beyond!”
Michael W. Abbott – Producer & Director Move Films
“Meeting and working with Emily has been an eye opening experience. Emily has added so many dynamics to our business introducing us to exciting people and connecting us with opportunities we had never realised. Her understanding and drive towards business development, PR and marketing is remarkable. Recently she secured Overcoast with a panel of their own at Advertising Week in London! She has helped us learn how to take our company forward. . . Thanks Emily”
