As a result of working in biometrics, exploring biomimetics has provided the foundations to help solve meaningful problems through innovation inspired by nature.

Everyone needs a secret weapon, and Emily’s is her Dad. He’s just like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.

Dad is the perfect English Gentleman and has one of those walking encyclopaedia superhuman minds. He knows the formula to orbital velocity quicker than you can Google it! Emily is exceptionally curious and her father always encouraged her to have a range of thought.

Before setting up roadmusic, Emily won multiple awards including The Drum Creative Roses, thirteen awards at the BBC and was recently pipped to the post on a Nobel Prize for her blood experiments.

Emily worked for Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT and BBC Worldwide, along with other marketing agencies looking after clients such as; Apollo 13 astronauts, Avios, Bristol Airport, GCHQ, IBM, Lotus Cars, Toyota, Office of National Statistics and the National Trust.

Utilising her creative, project management, science and technology skills, she moved into the music and entertainment industry to learn more about production and the sensory world.
